Shifts and Time Tracking
We assign shifts and track time clocks using Sling. All gigitup employees use this app. Watch this introduction video using the link below to get oriented to the app.
Getting Paid
We run payroll through Quickbooks. You can get your tax and direct deposit information prepared by signing up through quickbooks workforce using this link.

PAY PERIODS
Pay periods run from the 11th to the 25th and the 26th to the 10th. Paydays are the 14th and the 29th, unless holidays or weekend bank closures are in effect.
OVERTIME is paid according to Alberta regulations. The 8/44 rule is explained here:
Current Projects of Note
ACCESS MAT CONSTRUCTION PROJECT:
7am to 5:30 pm (10h + 30 min lunch)
7 days per week
16-18 workers on site daily.
Steel Toe boots and Gloves required
Applicants must be able to work 4 to 6 days per week. Work involves cutting, setting, drilling, and bolting wood together to make access mats.
Teamwork, communication, and steady effort are key. Onsite orientation and training provided from experienced workers.
Transportation provided from Town Center Mall each work day at no cost. All applicants must be able to arrive at 6:25 am sharp each morning.
